  This position will be a hybrid work arrangement, which translates to 2-3 days minimum per week in the office.

  HarbourVest Partners is currently seeking candidates for 2–3 year pre-MBA Associate positions in its Direct Investment Group in Boston, MA.   What You Will Do:

  • Be at the forefront of evaluating diverse companies across different sectors.
  • Engage actively in the due diligence process, including insightful interactions with management teams.
  • Craft detailed financial models, playing a key role in investment analysis.
  • Voice your opinions in investment discussions, making your mark in the decision-making process.
  • Monitor and assist in managing our investment portfolio, adding real value to the team.

  • Academic inclination in finance, business, or accounting.

  Reports to:

  Investment Vice Presidents or Principals. The Associate will also be paired with a senior professional as a mentor.

  Education:

  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  Experience:

  2 – 3 years of top-tier investment banking, consulting, or equity research experience
