- Participate in analyzing companies, develop strategies for clients, pulling market and industry research across the M&A product suite which includes buysides, sellsides, special committee assignments and activism and defense
- Review strategies for clients, build detailed and complex financial models, analyze market data, and prepare client presentations
- Receive direction from a manager and exercise independent judgment while developing an understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for Investment Banking
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Interact with internal and external customers
- 6+ months of Investment Banking Program experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Undergraduate degree from a four-year accredited college or university
- Background in Accounting and Financial Analysis
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong financial modeling skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
- Well-developed verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong sense of ownership and responsibility
- 6+ months of financial services or peripheral industry experience
- Desire to be part of a high performing and collaborative team
- Ability to work long hours in a demanding, highly focused collaborative and fast paced team environment with a sense of personal accountability and urgency for achieving results
- FINRA SIE, Series 63, and Series 79 exams must all be successfully completed within 90 days of employment if not available for transfer

We are seeking an Investment Banking Program Analyst to join our Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) group in one of our key offices – New York City or Charlotte. In this role you will support transaction execution across a variety of industries including Consumer/Retail, Industrials, Financial Institutions, Healthcare, Power & Energy, Real Estate & Gaming and Technology/Media/Telecom.
Investment Banking Analysts are an integral part of the Investment Banking team. They are directly involved in the design, origination, structuring and execution of investment banking products and services for existing and prospective clients. The Analyst provides these services as part of a team consisting of Associates, Vice Presidents, Directors, and Managing Directors.
