- Lead day-to-day transaction execution under direction of Managing Directors
- Lead pitch drafting as well as transaction marketing documents
- Assist in thoughtfully identifying appropriate investors and/or strategic and financial buyers
- Develop an in-depth understanding of our sectors
- Manage and execute on buyer interaction, transaction due diligence, etc.
- Review and oversee development of financial models, valuation analyses and research
- Maintain strong relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels
- Support new business and marketing initiatives as appropriate
- Demonstrate a commitment to the group's success on new opportunities, mandates and overall growth
- Management, training and stewardship of analysts and associates
- Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred
- 6+ years of investment banking or active transaction execution experience in the enterprise software sector
- Confident interpersonal skills to interact/manage clients and team members
- Demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Exceptional communication skills and executive presence, both verbal and written
- Elevated attention to detail and consistency in work product
- High degree of maturity, integrity, demonstrated leadership skills and work ethic
- Self-starting team player who can excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, challenging work environment
- Series 63, 79 licenses and Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam required at time of hiring or shortly thereafter

Job Description
Our Technology team is actively looking for an experienced VP / Director to join our Enterprise Software team in San Francisco. The candidate will work closely with senior members of the group to actively manage business development opportunities and oversee client pitch presentations, idea generation and deal execution. The ideal candidate will take on a leadership role within the Technology group, and will be integral to building on the momentum of Oppenheimer's Technology franchise and driving the team's continued success and growth.
This position requires in-person office attendance Monday-Friday.

For job postings in California, Oppenheimer is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. This salary range is specific to California and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making salary decisions including but not limited to your skills, qualifications, experience, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $170,000.00 - $190,000.00 at the time of this posting. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as discretionary bonus.
