- Review client draft announcements and presentations ahead of publication
- Prepare materials to present at client board meetings on a range of topics which may include company (and peer group) trading updates, sector developments or providing strategic advice to a board of directors
- Monitor client share price and news stories impacting the company’s sector and report back
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders in order to provide timely and interesting market updates to corporate clients
- Support colleagues on leading a range of typical investment banking transactions such as equity fund raising and M&A
- Build and maintain financial models
- A desire to work with and an interest in London-listed investment companies is a pre-requisite
- Written communication skills including drafting and interpretation of regulatory documents
- Strong interpersonal skills with experience of interacting between clients, other advisers, corporate and market facing colleagues
- Ability to build and maintain financial models as necessary, including strong Microsoft excel skills
- Experience in using PowerPoint
- Association of Chartered Accountants (ACA) or equivalent qualification/ work experience

This role sits within Deutsche Numis’ leading Investment Companies team. The team services 40+ retained London-listed investment company clients that have mandates to invest in many different asset classes such as infrastructure (including renewables), property, debt, private equity, and listed equities from around the world.
The team has a long track record of raising capital for its retained corporate clients and has recently been growing its Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) franchise.
You will work closely with a team of corporate colleagues as well as market facing colleagues across sales, research, and trading on a range of investment company clients and typical transactions. A desire to work with and an interest in London-listed investment companies is a pre-requisite for this role.
