Prepare valuations, comparable companies, precedent transactions analysis
Prepare financial analysis models for specific sectors and companies
Performing research on market trends/development, as well as conducting research potential buyers/investors
Preparation of marketing/pitch book presentation materials and coordination with other deal teams across the investment bank
Participate in substantial day-to-day client contact and client servicing
Present at, and where appropriate, co-ordinate client and other advisor meetings with support from senior bankers
Co-ordinate and mentor analyst team
At least 6 years Investment Banking experience for Senior Associate
Strong financial modeling / valuation and analytical skills
Strong technology skills, including Excel and PowerPoint, and the ability to quickly learn new systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively across regions and with product partners
Highly organised, detail oriented and proactive
Energetic and decisive, with high level of integrity

What we are looking for
We are looking to hire a Senior Associate (minimum 6 years experience) or a Vice President who has had a career advising on, and executing, M&A transactions and similar corporate finance assignments. The successful candidate should demonstrate the passion to learn and grow from senior mentoring but also the energy and drive to partner with senior bankers to help strengthen existing client relationships and build new ones as part of a broader effort to grow Deutsche Bank’s corporate finance franchise in Melbourne. As the only Senior Associate or Vice President in Melbourne, you will be well supported by two junior Associates and three Analysts, all based in Melbourne.
