Job Description
- Req#: R0275574
- Execute portfolio manager generated Investment Grade Credit orders (across multiple venues) in compliance with trading procedures and portfolio guidelines
- Help build relationships with the broker-dealer community to facilitate improved New Issue Allocations, market intelligence and act as a point of contact for the platform
- Participate in internal meetings with Portfolio Managers and Research as part of the investment decision making process
- Increase efficiency of execution services and help build automated solutions for the desk’s processes and order flow
- Be a team player and take part in value additive liquidity dialogue & solutions (incl. relative value, trade ideas, difficult to trade situations, alternative investments/comparable securities, New Issue color)
- Act as a culture carrier and foster successful relationships and interactions with Operations, Technology, Compliance, Risk and Audit
- Undergraduate degree with a preference towards a Bachelor’s degree in a finance-related or computer science field
- Understanding of industry recognized analytic and trading systems including Bloomberg, MarketAxess and Tradeweb. Experience with BRS Aladdin a plus
- Demonstrated process improvement through automation of order flow or similar skillset (coding skills should include familiarity with: Python, JavaScript, SQL)
- Experience in execution of Credit (Investment Grade) securities

Overview
The Global Trading Team at DWS is a key part of the investment process and has a primary goal of achieving best execution results for the firm’s clients. The team covers a wide range of products (across asset classes) and markets globally. Trading is seeking a candidate to join the Americas Trading team in New York.
The individual will primarily focus on trading Credit (Investment Grade) securities for mutual funds, institutional accounts and ETFs

It is DWS’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the office in accordance with the firm’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City/California is $87,750 - $172,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
