- Sourcing and screening suitable investment opportunities including conducting market research, analysis, pricing, and appraisal.
- Running and steering the commercial, legal, and technical due diligence process from initial offer to completion including internal stakeholder management and monitoring/managing professional teams.
- Leading financial appraisal and excel modelling for transactions. You’ll be capable of building financial models from scratch and interpreting, analysing, and adapting vendor models.
- Leading negotiation with Vendors and developing long term relationships with our partners.
- Liaising and improving process/ engagement with key internal teams such as finance, governance, risk, and compliance.
- Building and maintaining a strong network of key contacts, including agents, valuers, technical advisers, lawyers, and internal key contacts.
- Preparing institutional quality investment memorandum and supporting transaction paperwork.
- Conduct market and demographic research to justify current and future investment decision making.
- Strong experience and autonomy in cashflow modelling and transaction underwriting in excel.
- Direct real estate transaction management experience, preferably (although not essentially) in the residential sector.
- Investment and commercial acumen accompanied by an energetic and resilient approach.
- Excellent communication skills, stakeholder management and organisational skills.
- Ability to plan and prioritise tasks effectively and comfortable with managing multiple workflows.
- Great teammate with a positive attitude toward challenges.
- Excellent academic track record with a quantitative background preferrable.
- Genuine interest and passion in the UK real estate and residential sector

Citra Living is an exciting new company within Lloyds Banking Group (LBG), which focuses on the private rental market and shared ownership. Citra Living builds on the Group’s existing support for the housing market as one of the biggest mortgage lenders to first-time buyers, home movers and private landlords. Since 2018, LBG has provided almost £40bn of mortgages in the UK and helped one in four first time buyers to get onto the housing ladder.
Citra Living work with leading house builders, and other participants, through strategic partnerships to identify sites and support the building of additional housing, with Citra Living buying the rental element of these new developments. As well as ensuring continued support for the house building sector this will also help to address the continued increase in demand for rental properties at the same time.
Our team is looking for an Investment Manager where you’ll lead in the negotiation and running of all elements of investment and development transactions from inception to conclusion. You’ll also work closely with the Investment Directors and wider team to support business development, asset management, governance and generally working to raise the internal and external profile of Citra.
