Job Description
- Req#: 210475841
- Processes Corporate Actions and covers the full lifecycle from Announcement Capture to Payments
- Liaises with agent banks and custodians to improve processes and client experience
- Resolves Cash and Stock exceptions
- Provides support to internal teams including Risk Management and Client Facing teams across regions
- Understands the control environment and ensures that daily control checks are completed
- Works closely with Technology, Product and Operations partners to deliver Change
- Participates and leads meetings at the operational level on change initiatives impacting Asset Servicing
- Full lifecycle Corporate Actions & processing knowledge
- Good balance between analytical skills and interpersonal skills with experience facing off to demanding stakeholders
- Good understanding of Corporate Actions and Income accounting entries
- Good experience of Investment Banking Operational areas (Trades, Cash and Reconciliations)
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify, understand and address operational and technical issues
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to develop relationships across the various stakeholders including senior business executives
- Motivated and able to deliver with minimal supervision, whilst working effectively in a team
- Client Service and Middle Office exposure
- Financial markets product knowledge and understanding of the transaction lifecycle
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point
- Knowledge of IM Actions Corporate Actions system, Bancs and Cosmic
