Responsibilities We are seeking detail oriented, customer service focused and very reliable individual to join our Investment Planning Services. Investment Planning Services Assistants: Processes customer transactions with a high level of accuracy, following standard policies and procedures Review and verify new accounts and transactions to ensure the proper processing according to established quality standards and business requirements Review forms to determine good order, following processes and procedures to initiate account updates Handle incoming checks in a timely manner, abiding by check acceptance guidelines and procedures Adjust and/or corrects transactions processed in error, and monitors gains/losses resulting from the backdated trades Utilize computer and telecommunications systems to process transactions and assist with responses to inquiries, legal documents, and rejected forms Communicates with agents or customers when additional information is needed Participates in larger scale projects and may coordinate less complex projects Performs other duties, as assigned Additional Details: This is a Hybrid role where you will spend some time working from home and some time working in an assigned State Farm facility. The current in-office commitment is 4-5 days per month. (Subject to change based on Business needs) Incumbents may be required to be fingerprinted and attain/maintain current Securities licensing and sponsorship to remain in position. May vary by division based on leadership's direction based on review of business needs Job may require incumbent to travel overnight via commercial transportation and/or driving motor vehicles Job may require working nonstandard work hours and/or work week during periods of heavy workload or to meet deadlines May be required to handle agent or customer calls Required to sign Acknowledgement and Consent to Multi-channel Monitoring and Recording Form in some areas May be required to possess and maintain Series 6 license Incumbency: All employees hired into the Investment Planning Services Assistant position are subject to a 12-month incumbency period (beginning on the effective date in this position) which must be met before the incumbent can post or be considered for other opportunities. Exceptions to the incumbency period may be considered for promotional opportunities and will be considered on an individual basis, consistent with business needs and management approval. Note: State Farm recently implemented new pre-employment assessments. Candidates that have previously taken an assessment may be asked to participate in additional testing.
