  Job Description Summary:

  What you need to know about the role
  Part of our Payment Alliance, our Tap to Pay team is working on an SDK allowing our merchants to take card payments in our apps and partner apps without dedicated card reader device. You’ll be involved in all phases of the production cycle and be part of a development team. You'll be in close contact with other engineers and designers to create a tailored user experience for our merchants and partners.

  We have a relatively small team with 4 mobile engineers (from 4 different continents!), a QA engineer, product manager, and an engineering manager. We work closely every day, and we don’t forget to make it fun!

  Duration: 6 Months, Full time, starting April 2024

  Your way to Impact

  This role requires you to have engineering background with interest in Apple’s iOS platform and Swift programming language. You are curious, proactive, and enjoy solving abstract challenges. Having interest in fin-tech or the card payment industry is a big plus.

  Your day to day

  • Work with latest technologies to design, implement and maintain Tap to Pay related features.
  • Learn the processes and approaches of a software engineering team.
  • Be engineering counterpart of the product manager.
  • Learn more about Zettle by PayPal products and teams.

  What do you need to bring-

  • Currently enrolled at university for a degree in a computer science / engineering or related subject. Can also be in the process of preparing final dissertation.
  • English proficiency
  • Internship duration 6 months
