      IPU BUYER

      What you’ll do:

      • Engage and lead supplier negotiations, selection, and monitoring on regular basis

      • Work closely with Operational buyers to ensure strategic vision is being followed

      • Support Category Manager and global teams for assigned category groups, segments, and codes

      • Knowledge of Plant Engineering Categories (Building Construction, Components and Supplies, HVAC Equipment, Material Handling/Conveyance, Security, etc.)

      • Build, Repair and Maintain customer relationships through communication and collaboration

      • Develop (along with key stakeholders), implement and follow category specific strategy


      What is required:

      •Knowledge of Plant Engineering indirect purchasing categories or 5+ years of facilities supervision

      •Good working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

      •Good communication skills both written and verbal
