- Build industrial facilities, structures, and warehouses using structural steel and iron.
- Frame and erect iron and structural steel structures.
- Fit and assemble structural frameworks using hand tools and welding equipment according to blueprint specifications.
- Work around cranes, including handling chokers, crane signals, and rigging.
- Perform tack welding and weld structural steel onsite.
- Read and interpret project layouts and blueprints.
- Experience in metal framing, carpentry, and iron work.
- Proficiency in metal stud framing and steel erection.
- Experience in industrial or commercial carpentry.
- Ability to perform tack welding of structural steel.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints.
- OSHA 10 certification.
Iron Worker
Job Description
As an Iron Worker, you will be responsible for building industrial facilities, structures, and warehouses by using structural steel and iron. You will engage in iron and structural steel framing and erecting, fitting and assembling structural frameworks using hand tools and welding equipment while following blueprint specifications. You must be comfortable working around cranes, including handling chokers, crane signals, and rigging. Additionally, you will perform tack welding and welding of structural steel onsite and read project layouts and blueprints.

Work Environment
You will work at industrial construction sites on a 1st shift schedule from Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with possible overtime on Friday and Saturday.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
