- Performs various tasks as assigned by the Farm, Feedlot, and/or Area Manager.
- Irrigates crops by setting and adjusting syphon tubes, and flood irrigation according to an irrigation schedule established by the Farm Manager/Foreman.
- Cleans and maintains ditch banks by burning and spraying weeds to ensure an adequate flow of water to the farm, and prepares ditches and fields for irrigation by cleaning ditches or dragging pastures.

Summary
This role irrigates crops using syphon tubes and flood irrigation, in order to provide adequate water application while maximizing water utilization and irrigation equipment. Operates a four-wheeler or pickup truck as needed for transportation and assisting in irrigation to get the job done. As directed, assists in spring and fall pasture, field, and ditch preparation.
