      Major Job Responsibilities:
      This position participates in all activities necessary for pre-production, production, and post-production of Metro meetings, events, and special projects. In addition, this position works directly with the technical aspect of running and troubleshooting video equipment. Participate in activities as necessary and assigned for creation of programs for broadcast on Metro Network and affiliated mediums, including scheduling, video, audio, and lighting, editing, and other duties related to that business. A strong portfolio demonstrates a range of videography skills and styles.

      TYPICAL DUTIES:
      - Video Production:
      Participate in the recording of business meetings for the Metropolitan. Metro Network coverage can consist of multi-camera productions and single camera productions. Candidates are expected to assist with producing video content through either means for various purposes, including cablecast, streaming, and internal use, adhering to quality standards and project requirements.
      - Multi-Camera Responsibilities:
      Demonstrate proficiency in working within a team environment whether serving as a crew member or directing video productions by employing essential techniques such as transitions, quick decision-making, and effective communication with the crew to ensure smooth operations.
      - Field Production Operations:
      Handle all aspects of field production, including transportation, setup, and operation of camera equipment, audio devices, lighting fixtures, and other necessary tools for both multi-camera and single-camera setups.
      - Pre-Production Assistance:
      Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to contribute to pre- production tasks, such as developing project outlines, scripts, shot sheets, and scheduling logistics.
      - Lighting Techniques:
      Apply knowledge of lighting principles, including the implementation of 3-point lighting setups, to enhance visual quality and create the desired atmosphere for video productions.
      - Audio Management:
      Manage audio elements effectively by maintaining balanced levels, employing gain control techniques to prevent clipping or over-modulation, and selecting appropriate microphones to suit different recording situations.
      - Equipment Troubleshooting:
      Perform troubleshooting tasks on audio, video, and lighting equipment as needed, addressing common issues to ensure uninterrupted production workflows.
      - Post-Production Support:
      Participate in post-production activities, including footage review, editing, audio adjustment, color correction, and finalizing projects using relevant software tools and techniques.
      - Video Editing:
      Utilize fundamental concepts and techniques of editing to craft compelling video content, employing appropriate software and methodologies to meet project objectives.
      - Equipment Maintenance:
      Ensure the proper maintenance of all production equipment, including transportation,storage, and routine servicing, to prolong lifespan and maintain operational efficiency.
      - Documentation and Reporting:
      Assist in the preparation, review, and maintenance of operational process documentation, providing management with comprehensive reports and supporting documentation to facilitate decision-making and process improvement initiatives.

      Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
      Any combination of education and experience that would prepare the applicant to perform the duties of the position at the appropriate level. The preferred candidate would typically have 2 (two) or more years of experience using videography, lighting, audio, and associated software tools necessary in the development and cablecast of video programs.

      Licenses/Certifications Required:
      • Valid Class ‘D” Driver’s License
