Operate manufacturing processes, ensuring that all operations are executed in compliance with the specified quality and production standards. This includes preforming, loading/unloading baskets, and managing loading/unloading vessels.
Manage completion of SAP transactions, logs, and other necessary paperwork to ensure thorough product traceability throughout the manufacturing process.
Uphold a clean and organized working environment, adhering to high standards of housekeeping.
Follow and contribute to established team standards for cleaning, preventive maintenance (PMs), and production schedules to optimize operational efficiency.
Perform equipment lock-outs in accordance with safety regulations, ensuring the safety of both yourself and your colleagues.
Execute minor maintenance tasks within the operating area, utilizing your skills and knowledge as appropriate.
Maintain compliance with all safety and Process Safety Management (PSM) standards, and initiate emergency protocols as necessary.
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Minimum Two (2) years of manufacturing experience OR an Associate's degree (A.S.) in Mechanical or Materials Engineering Technology, or a related field.
Proficient in basic computer applications and math skills.
Strong written communication skills with the ability to interpret instructions accurately.
Demonstrated teamwork abilities, along with skills in analysis, judgment, engagement, and productivity management.
Willingness to work rotating 12-hour shifts from 2 am - 2 pm as part of a dynamic team.
Capability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly.
Experience with basic hand tools and measuring instruments.
Knowledge and experience with Automated Process Controls (PLC systems).
Familiarity with powder metal pressing operations would be an advantage.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints effectively.
Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) practices is a plus.
