Job Description

- Provide hands on technology support to team members, residents, and others within the enterprise
- Diagnose IT related problems and resolve
- Perform PC and peripheral hardware and software upgrades and end user technology training/coaching in both formal and informal sessions
- Field trouble tickets from our helpdesk system and resolve local and remote staff issues or escalate to the appropriate Subject Matter Expert in a timely manner
- Perform additions, moves, and changes to the desktop phone environment
- Provide support of cell phones and mobile computing
- Provide support for conferencing and collaboration through voice, video, and desktop sharing
- Provide support of video and access control security systems
- Provide support for technologies employed for the care and wellbeing of residents such as Personal Emergency Response (PERS), Nurse call, and Wander Management
- Perform preventative maintenance on endpoints, infrastructure systems, and other technology devices
- Maintain a library of equipment for temporary loan and large meeting support
- Sensitively and discreetly handle confidential information
- Provide effective and courteous service to all residents, potential residents, guests and co-workers
- Support resident technology needs within corporate guideline
- College degree in the field of computer science or specialized formal technology training
- Minimum of 2 years’ equivalent work experience
- Microsoft and other certifications including MCSE a plus
- Experience supporting Mac & Apple products is strongly preferred
The on-site IT Administrator provides hands-on technology support to end users (Team members, Residents, and Guests) at their assigned communities and remotely in the enterprise. You would fields trouble tickets from the helpdesk system and resolves staff issues in a timely manner. Responsibilities include standard break/fix, problem diagnosis and resolution, PC and peripheral hardware and software upgrades and end user technology training/coaching. The incumbent provides support for community communication, life-safety and security systems.
This position requires on-site presence at our Redwood Terrace community located in Escondido, CA. Pay range is $30-35/hr depending on experience
