Job Description

- Track and manage IT hardware assets through all lifecycle stages
- Maintain accurate asset records in Microsoft Dynamics and Intune
- Create procurement case tickets and coordinate with BRMs for asset needs and assignments
- Audit inventory systems; resolve discrepancies in Dynamics and Intune
- Generate inventory, compliance, and trend reports
- Maintain documentation and recommend process improvements
- Use Excel, Word, and Dynamics for tracking, invoices, and purchase orders
- Shift priorities as needed and manage changing workloads
- 3-5 years of experience in IT asset management
- Experience with asset and lifecycle tracking
- Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) and discovery tools
- Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage vendor relationships
- Ability to oversee daily tasks for a part-time assistant
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, business, or related field
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Microsoft Intune
- Basic IT support and troubleshooting knowledge
- Valid driver’s license
- Must pass all required City of Boise background checks, including CJIS and driving record screening
- Primarily office-based with some driving required
- Occasional lifting of boxes up to 75 lbs
- Possible exposure to dust or odors
Supports city IT operations by managing the full lifecycle of hardware assets, from purchase through disposal. Maintains accurate inventory records in Microsoft Dynamics and Intune, coordinates with internal stakeholders, and ensures compliance with policies and procedures. Works independently under general supervision and adapts to shifting priorities.Minimum Qualifications
