- Deploy, test, document, and support integrated Audio Video systems in meeting rooms, huddle spaces, and conference rooms including the board room
- Provide support for live audio video operations and broadcasts for various County functions such as Board Meetings, Conferences, and Special Events
- Serves as a technical expert in the area of audio video technology for the County
- Helps to identify audio video goals and solutions, and may provide project leadership in order to deliver a high level of service to the customers of the information technology department
- Assist with the development and inclusion of audio video solutions into the IT Budgeting process
- Paid work experience in providing support and implementation recommendations for audio video equipment in a professional setting
- Paid work experience in maintenance, troubleshooting and problem solving audio video systems including existing equipment and new installations
- Working knowledge of various network connectivity, software platforms for audio/video production and editing
- Paid work experience coordinating with staff to provide support for live streaming events, Board Meetings, and other events such as departmental training
- Paid work experience in communicating audio video project status with assigned your manager
- Paid work experience and a solid understanding of audio video systems including but not limited to audio mixers, microphones, projectors, working knowledge of audio video control systems
The IT Audio Video Systems Administrator provides support for all multimedia operations of the County. Assist in the selection, installation, and implementation of Audio Video systems. Maintain, troubleshoot, and inventory all County audio video systems. The Audio Video Systems Administrator will also serve as a technical expert in:

HOURS / DAYS: 8:00am - 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. Occasional after hours for special events. Work schedules (hours and days) and location are subject to change based on department needs.
ANTICIPATED HIRING RATE: $33.68 - $45.95 Hourly
The IT Systems Administrator installs, configures and performs routine maintenance to systems software, hardware and related applications systems, responds to basic and complex technical and workstation support requests and monitors computer systems availability, performance, and security.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field and four (4) years of progressively responsible system administration and/or programming experience including systems analysis, planning and development; OR, an Associate degree in Information Technology or related field and six (6) years of progressively responsible system administration and/or programming experience including systems analysis, planning and development; OR, an equivalent combination of education and job related work experience that totals eight (8) years of progressively responsible system administration and/or programming experience including systems analysis, planning and development.

• Considerable experience with IBM's BRMS backup product;
• Experience with iSeries Enterprise applications.

• Experience with a High Availability iSeries tool; and
• Experience with Oracle JDE Enterprise One CNC duties.Perform system maintenance:
• Perform routine maintenance of hardware and software;
• Troubleshoot basic hardware and software problems;
• Monitor systems using trend analysis and capacity planning; Establish and monitor critical check points and thresholds;

• Research and resolve performance, capacity and other server related issues;
• Analyze and resolve Windows and iSeries server hardware operating systems and applications software issues;

• Create, monitor, modify and maintain user accounts;
• Implement systems use policies;
• Monitor resource use (internal memory and disk space);
• Participate in the coordination of systems activities and communications;
• Participate in systems planning, design and development and systems hardware and software projects;
• Administer Windows and iSeries server host systems and interfaces;
• Develop criteria for management exception reporting;
• Install, configure and maintain Windows, Linux and Hypervisor virtual operating systems;
• Install, configure and maintain OS/400 and i5OS operating systems and upgrades;
• Oversee hardware procurement, asset tracking, management and disposal of all servers; and
• Conduct annual inventory.Provide business continuity support
• Monitor availability, performance and security of computer systems software (operating and network systems and utilities, servers and other hardware and related application systems);
• Assist in data backup, disaster recovery and response to security breaches, service interruptions, and other critical situations;
• Perform scheduled backups;
• Maintain High Availability system used within the environment
• Maintain server security;
• Provide patch management for servers; and
• Maintain server support standards, guidelines and procedures for software and hardware.Perform other duties as assigned.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work will involve remaining in a stationary position for extended periods of time, although the incumbent will need to move about inside the office to access files or equipment from time to time, and may occasionally need to travel to other sites to perform work or interact with other professionals. The ability to operate and interact with computers or other office equipment, via keyboard, mouse, touch screen, or other Human Interface Device (HID) is required. The incumbent will be exposed to noise and a regular flow of people around an office environment, assigned to changing priorities and occasionally required to work outside of typical business hours to meet project deadlines, or be available on an on-call basis for special projects or to provide support. The incumbent may occasionally need to move or transport moderately heavy objects, such as computer equipment and peripheral, unbox, install, inspect, troubleshoot and repair computer equipment, position themselves to inspect and maintain computer equipment under desks, beneath raised flooring, above suspended ceiling, in data closets, cabling channels/trees, or equipment racks.
