- Utilizes good understanding of business analysis procedures and concepts. Ability to understand how systems across the business hang together.
- Interact with Product and Operations team globally to understand and clarify the requirements
- Write functional document while meeting agile implementation deadlines.
- Write and execute test cases and work with technologists to develop solutions
- Review existing processes in place and come up with creative/automated solutions while working with technical teams
- Interact with teams spread geographically
- Work proactively & independently to address project requirements, and articulate issues/challenges with enough lead time to address project delivery risks
- Providing expertise in functional analysis and solving functional issues during project delivery
- Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts
- 9-16 years of strong business analyst experience within custody and financial services
- Extensive business analysis experience across a range of projects, programmes and domains
- Expertise in a wide range of requirement elicitation and documentation techniques, using a range of methodologies.
- Extensive experience of documenting use cases, functional specifications or similar
- Experience with system and user acceptance testing, including test management tools
- Work proactively & independently to address project requirements, and articulate issues/challenges with enough lead time to address project delivery risks
- Able to work as part of a virtual team in a culturally diverse background
- Strong communication, analytical, problem solving and time management skills
- Corporate Action (Classification of CA - Mandatory/Choice/Voluntary)
- Settlement (Trade life cycle) (Participants – Depository/Stock exchange/Custodian/Counterparty/Issuer)
- SWIFT message (ISO 15022 (MT) and ISO 20022 (XML))
- SDLC (Initiation to Closure)
- Meaning of IT BA role (BRD (OPS BA), FRD/MPD/LRD (IT BA))
- Bachelors/Master Degree either in technology disciplines
- PMP/CBAP Certification would be a plus
