  POSITION SUMMARY:

  The Co-op/Intern in our IT Security and Infrastructure organization will play a key role on projects on our IT Roadmap that will result in improved efficiency as well as security of our environment. The Information Security team manages, monitors and provides expertise in the cybersecurity space. The role will work closely with IT technical leadership as well as our broader employee base in providing secure solutions and expertise. The technologies will encompass our Microsoft environments, access management, mobile technologies, network operations, disaster recovery, and data management solutions
  
  

  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

  • Perform analysis to identify & recommend best practice for both implementation & administration of technologies
  • Work closely with technology vendors such as Microsoft, KnowBe4
  • Daily security tools event monitoring via MS Defender, SIEM and assigned tools
  • Conduct testing to ensure solutions meet requirements and intended use objectives
  • Assist with user cyber security awareness for the organization
  • Participate in triage of cyber events and research of remediation
  • Participate in business continuity and DR planning and exercises

  BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Pursuing a degree in computer science or IT Security with an interest in learning application security, mobile management, networking, IT Security & Identity management technologies.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST or Zero Trust
  • Basic project leadership skills to both organize, coordinate and communicate actions and results
  • Able to work in a hybrid environment with at least 3 days per week in the office

  PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Base cybersecurity knowledge and experience

  OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to regularly walk, sit, or stand as needed
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 10 pounds
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
