What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide on-site and remote technical support for hardware, software, account, and printer issues across multiple locations
- Diagnose and resolve tier 1 and tier 2 technical problems related to computer systems, telephony, software, and other related hardware
- Co-manage the helpdesk ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and accurate documentation of issues
- Conduct user account management, including creation, permission assignment, and password resets
- Collaborate with the IT team to escalate and resolve complex technical issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma and 2 years of helpdesk work experience required
- Strong customer support skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Problem-solving ability to diagnose and resolve basic and complex technical issues
- Must own a reliable vehicle for travel within the Metro Detroit area
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a non-profit or animal welfare environment
- Familiarity with helpdesk ticketing systems and IT documentation practices
- Ability to lift at least 40 pounds
- Experience providing basic technical training to end-users
