Job Description

- Use existing processes to collect and disseminate technology implementation metrics.
- Assist in developing meaningful metrics to track progress of technology initiatives.
- Identify and develop a plan to improve on at least one existing technology governance and reporting process.
- Draft, edit and publish internal and external communications for print, email, and web.
- Receive mentoring from experienced IT project managers and data analysts.
- Gain exposure to a wide variety of key business stakeholders across CHS enterprise.
- Learn basic project management processes, including Agile and SAP Activate.
- Develop a high-level understanding of SAP S/4 HANA.
- Perform other work as assigned.
- Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree program in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Management, or similar STEM degree program
- Completion of undergraduate course in statistics and probability
- Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI
- Project management or scrum master experience

Summary
CHS has an exciting opportunity at our Information Technology group. We are looking for an Information Technology Intern to help support a variety of projects that will range in scale and complexity within the Technology Governance and Reporting team. In this role, you will assist in data and governance analysis, defining and measuring metrics and key performance indicators to enable data-driven decision making in support of multiple technology implementation initiatives. You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, working knowledge of Microsoft 365 products, familiarity with statistical analysis, and a willingness to learn new technologies. A successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.
Ideal candidates will live in the St. Paul/Minneapolis, MN metro area in order to work a hybrid schedule (2-3 days per week in the corporate office, located in Inver Grove Heights, MN); may consider remote options for top talent. The CHS IT Internship Program is targeted for 5/13/2024 - 8/16/2024 (this timeframe can be somewhat flexible).
