We have a new and exciting opportunity for a IT Junior Applications Developer in Islandia, NY. This role will be responsible for developing various enterprise applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, integrate, test enhancements and features across various applications, integration solutions, and reporting/analytics tools.
• Ensures seamless integration of delivered solutions into the existing system architecture, collaborating closely with business analysts to meet application-level requirements.
• Create and enhance extension objects with coding to trigger actions/automations on events within the ERP system.
• Develop and maintain external applications through API/Web Service Integration Technology (REST/SOAP).
• Support machine connectivity and integration, including IoT.
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports, instructional manuals, and documentation for custom program development.
• Troubleshoot application incidents and performance anomalies, providing timely support to users as needed.
• Analyze and optimize hardware and software performance in collaboration with the infrastructure team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or Information Management, or equivalent.
• Experience or knowledge in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other modern UI technologies, knowledge of SAPUI5, Fiori is a plus.
• Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Java or Python. Knowlege of SAP ABAP Object Oriented Programming is a plus.
• Experience or knowledge in system integration through API/Web Service Integration technology(REST/SOAP). Knowledge in Apigee and AnyPoint is a plus.
• Experience with SQL programming.Knowledge of SAP HANA database is a plus.
• Knowledge with Agile or Scrum development methodologies and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Must be a self-motivated faster learner and capable to quickly adapt to new techonologies.
• Knowledge with SAP and Microsoft PowerSuite is a plus.
• Knowledge of MQTT is a plus.

The salary range for this position is $62,216 - $77,770.
