      HALO is seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Manager – Application Support with a proven track record in leading and managing teams that support internally developed applications. This individual will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of cloud systems, ensuring reliability, performance, and compliance.


      This role is hands-on and includes management responsibilities, collaborating cross-functionally to assess needs, identify gaps, and enhance HALO’s technology infrastructure and products.


      Responsibilities

      Strategic Leadership

      • Develop and execute an application support strategy aligned with business goals.
      • Ensure compliance with infrastructure and security standards.
      • Provide strategic direction for improving system functionality and user satisfaction.
      • Participate in application implementation and enhancement projects.
      • Stay current on technologies and best practices for reliability, scalability, and security.

      Team Management

      • Lead, mentor, and develop cloud and application support engineers.
      • Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture.

      Application Management & Support

      • Partner with IT and business leaders to design scalable cloud infrastructure solutions.
      • Optimize cloud resource utilization and control costs.
      • Monitor and report on infrastructure performance and availability.
      • Develop SLAs and performance metrics for IT services.
      • Identify opportunities for operational improvement and technology consolidation.
      • Perform other related duties as assigned.

      Security & Compliance

      • Implement and enforce cloud security best practices.
      • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

      Performance Monitoring & Optimization

      • Establish monitoring and alerting systems for proactive issue resolution.
      • Continuously fine-tune infrastructure for optimal performance.

      Vendor Management

      • Manage relationships with cloud service providers and technology vendors.
      • Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to enhance capabilities.

      Incident Response & Problem Management

      • Oversee the lifecycle of application support incidents from report to resolution.
      • Serve as an escalation point for complex issues.
      • Analyze incident trends to identify root causes and preventive actions.

      Documentation & Training

      • Maintain documentation for cloud systems, processes, and procedures.
      • Conduct training and knowledge-sharing sessions for the team.

      Work Hours & Travel

      • Occasional on-call or after-hours support may be required for deployments, production issues, or technical emergencies.
