      Job Description

      Position Summary

      This position is responsible for supporting the general business functions, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and related technologies. The candidate must have knowledge of security, storage, virtualization, disaster recovery, business continuity, network, VoIP, mobile, and web-enabled applications. The role involves supporting the implementation of a hybrid cloud strategy focusing on IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS instances.

      Job Responsibilities

      1. Resolve technical issues with operating systems, hardware, software, and network connectivity. Respond to IT service calls, emails, and IMs, serving as the escalation point for end-user technology questions and providing information on departmental policies and service agreements.
      2. Coordinate and support IT projects, ensuring documentation, milestones, timelines, and communication are maintained.
      3. Participate in developing and implementing Service Desk process improvements, including process mapping and documentation, and lead efforts to enhance these processes in collaboration with Operations.
      4. Manage onsite computing equipment inventory, maintaining knowledge of device usage and purposes.
      5. Guide the IT Service team in technical support and customer service best practices, providing training to end users.
      6. Research, evaluate, test, and recommend new technologies and processes to improve usability and reduce costs.
      7. Develop security solutions for IT networks and systems, working with vendors to determine necessary tools and techniques.
      8. Respond to security alerts and incidents, perform security reviews, and conduct gap analyses for internal controls and external vendors.
      9. Provide advanced support and troubleshooting within the Office 365 suite.
      10. Support and troubleshoot firewalls, switches, and wireless access points.
      11. Availability for after-hours and some weekend work as required.

      Minimum Required Qualifications

      • Associate's degree or higher, or eight (8) years of experience in enterprise IT environments.
      • Strong knowledge of Palo Alto.
      • Strong knowledge of Cisco Meraki.
      • Strong understanding of Windows server platforms.
      • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
      • Bachelor's degree.

      Skills and Abilities

      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
      • Proficiency with computing hardware, including mobile and handheld devices.
      • Proficiency in enterprise networking, server architecture, and cybersecurity.
      • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
      • Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
      • Broad experience including cloud security, SIEM, firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, next-gen antivirus, incident management, risk assessments, and penetration testing.
