- Ownership and prioritization of product development – The role is key in the future of IT Service Desk within Nestlé.
- Maximizing value of the product and work of the development team – Creativity in addressing Nestle business needs within the context of IT Service Desk is key.
- Facilitating tech-powered and process innovation – Engage with customers, stakeholders and the IT Service Desk team to find solutions that work for Nestlé.

Owning and prioritizing product development: The Product Owner is responsible for developing, managing and prioritizing the list of features, enhancements, and bug fixes that make up the product. The Product Owner ensures that the most valuable items are at the top of the development goals and prioritized.

Maximizing value of the product: The Product Owner works closely with the development team, IT Service Desk Operations team and other key stakeholders to ensure that the product delivers maximum value to the customers and stakeholders. In consultation with the IT Service Desk Product Manager, they make decisions on what features, process and product needs are included in each release based on the product strategy and customer needs.

Acting as a key information conduit: The Product Owner serves as a bridge between the development team and other stakeholders, such as the IT Service Desk Product Manager. They communicate the product strategy, vision, and roadmap to the development team and gather feedback and requirements from stakeholders.

Facilitating tech-powered and process innovation: The Product Owner enables innovation within their scope by leveraging existing technology or exploring new development, methodologies or tools. They identify support opportunities and transform them into continued competitive advantages for Nestle.

Defining standards, communications and marketing: The Product Owner is responsible for defining the standards approach for the IT Service Desk product. They also manage the marketing of the product within Nestle, ensuring that it is effectively promoted and communicated to the relevant stakeholders.

- Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in computer science or a field related to the product, or commensurate IT experience: The IT Product Owner should have a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience in the IT industry.
- Demonstrated experience in a product-based IS/IT organization: The IT Product Owner should have previous experience working in a product-based IS/IT organization, demonstrating their understanding of product development processes and methodologies.
- 10+ years of experience in IS/IT: The IT Product Owner should have at least 5 years of experience in the IS/IT field, with roles such as Product Owner, Business Analyst, Project Manager, or similar positions.
- Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment: The IT Product Owner should have a track record of taking ownership of projects and delivering successful results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization and in English: The IT Product Owner should have strong communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with stakeholders at different levels within the organization.
- Experience managing IT agreements as a IT Product Owner or IT Product Manager.
- Strong background in Azure DevOps methodologies.
- Experience with development, deployment and management of IT Chatbot (Kore.AI, Cognigy or ServiceNow Virtual Agent) or IVA solutions and related technologies such a Contact Centre.
