What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Evaluate and analyze pharmacy information technology and systems to enhance operational efficiency
- Lead and manage projects related to the implementation and enhancement of pharmacy information systems
- Document technical business requirements for developers, vendors, and stakeholders
- Collect and present pharmacy-related data to support decision-making and optimize processes
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for pharmacy systems to ensure minimal disruption
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, Pharmacy, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in systems/business analysis and project management
- Strong understanding of pharmacy practices and related state and federal laws
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with other Microsoft 365 programs is essential
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle complex problem-solving
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Pharmacy, Business, or a related field
- Five or more years of experience in systems/business analysis and project management
- Experience with pharmacy information systems such as Epic, HSP, or McKesson
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP from PMI)
