      IT Project Associate

      Summary:

      The IT Project Associate will be the liaison between leadership, business, and support teams. In this position, you will facilitate, organize, lead, and motivate Agile teams to deliver with quality by providing business value to internal and external users. You may also be responsible for coordinating several concurrent deliverables in a fast-paced environment. The IT Project Associate plays a consultative role to help put in place the appropriate people, process, and tools and coaching members of the team as needed to optimize the efficiency of the support teams.

      The IT Project Associate will maintain awareness, perform follow up and monitor priority tasks, escalating as necessary to ensure needs of the business are met within the expected timelines.

      Duties & Responsibilities:

      • Coordinate and run daily, weekly, and monthly meetings.

        • Including but not limited to Daily Standup, Defect Review, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives

      • Be proactive with deadlines, monitoring and follow up for high priority items.

      • Create Team Performance Metrics

        • Create and report on team metrics to track progress, see trends, and identify gaps to improve processes.

        • Report metric status to software development and system support Sr. Management

      • Support daily high-level expectations of business partners. Ensure that high profile tasks are being worked to meet business and client expectations. Escalate issues to software development management to ensure resolution.

      • Maintain weekly status of each task, escalate tasks that are falling behind.

      • Enterprise Process Management

        • Administer project management tools (Jira and Confluence)

        • Administer CRM tools (Service Desk)

        • Utilize workflows to ensure tasks adhere to the proper checks and balances to ensure quality of execution.

      • Process Management and Improvement – Champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for the support teams.

      Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

      • Position requires 0-2+ years project related experience

      Preferred skills:

      • Exposure to IT

      • Project management certifications

      • Scrum/Agile knowledge

      • Knowledge/understanding of a Project Management tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, etc)
