- Strong experience managing multiple projects or large enterprise project with complex interdependencies.
- Strong ability to facilitating meetings with cross-functional (technical and business users) teams.
- Experience executing various Software/System Development Life Cycle processes (SDLC) including Waterfall and agile project management methodologies and techniques.
- Experience with requirements gathering, analysis and design, development tools and technologies, release and version control, contemporary testing methodologies, and deployment management.
- Solid understanding of business or technical process changes, implementations, and deployments.
- Analytical ability sufficient to understand user requirements and translate them into technical terms to develop quantitative status reports and identify and quantify issues and risks.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to successfully collaborate with a broad range of personnel at all levels across the campus and with varying level of technical knowledge and/or project management concepts. Oral communication and presentation skills sufficient to explain business needs to technical personnel and technical information to business users.

- Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in Project Management in an IT environment.
- Professional certification.
- Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP, ACP, CSM) or the ability to gain a certification.

The OIT Project Management Office provides leadership and coordination of large cross-functional projects. The team also develops and continually enhances project management guidelines and tools and educates project leaders throughout the university on utilizing project management best practices.
Your Role on the TeamUnder the general supervision of the Supervisor, IT Project Management, the IT Project Manager applies skills as a seasoned, experienced technical project management professional serving as a single point of contact for medium to large-scale, technical projects. The incumbent coordinates meetings, tracks tasks, and reports on project statuses, captures, compiles, manages, documents, communicates and escalates status, issues, and risks. Demonstrates competency in selecting methods and techniques to obtain solutions. Manages projects of diverse scope, size, impact, budget and / or project team size including, but not limited to, data/system migration, system implementation, server upgrades, data analytics, process automation, and other campus IT project needs.

The expected pay range for this recruitment is $94,400- $156,200 (Annual).
