Co-ordinating all aspects of the project to ensure delivery of customer and business objectives
Bring together project team members from across the business and third-party organisations to build and deliver the project plan
Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle, from planning, implementation, and evaluation of the projects
Adhering to project management frameworks and standards within the team, including good financial governance
Troubleshoot, solve and escalate issues
Experience managing IT projects end to end
The ability to bring together project team members from across the business and third-party organisations to build and deliver the project plan
Excellent stakeholder management skills
You'll be a great communicator with an ability to build relationships
You'll need to be resilient in the face of challenges, and care and support others within the team
Understand and adherence to project management frameworks and standards within the team, including good financial governance
You'll troubleshoot, problem-solve and escalate issues
It would be great if you also have experience in Retail IT projects

About the role
The Project Manager role is an important position, responsible for the mobilisation and management of projects within a large investment portfolio supporting the Retail side of our business. This is a great opportunity to work at the heart of the business, delivering technology critical to Boots' performance. You will work collaboratively with key business users and other IT colleagues, in an interesting and engaging environment.
The projects you'll work on may take many forms, from implementing new technology in the Boots Customer Support Centre to making changes to the EPOS system in our shops. You'll scope out projects, making sure they are delivered and ensuring the correct project management processes are followed.
Key responsibilities
The Project Manager contributes in the delivery of the IT2A transformation agenda and strategy. This includes delivering key projects, following project frameworks, assessing project risks & issues, and managing and tracking finances.
