Provides overarching Project Management direction and consultation for the entire department, and is responsible for providing guidance, scheduling management, quality management, and monitoring industry trends.
Accountable to help manage the overall ITS technical demand and drives processes to evaluate project value and risk to determine portfolio priority.
Accountable for the delivery of concurrent technical projects by leading technical delivery systems and ensuring adherence so System IT project management standards and methodologies.
Coordinates vendor contracts and outside resources relations during RFQ/P processes and during projects to track milestones and deliverables.
Serves as the primary point of contact to the business and understands development demand and provides updates around project status, risks, and budgets.
Identifies skills needed on efforts and ensure resources are managed efficiently and effectively.
Financial management of multiple projects.
Administration of hourly tracking tools.
Provides project management consultation and guidance in support of PM efforts within the Bank.
Requires following somewhat defined procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
IT Project Manager : Bachelor's degree and 7 years of related work experience.
IT Portfolio Manager : Bachelor's degree and 10 years of related work experience.
PMP certification preferred. In lieu of a PMP, relevant related project management experience and/or comparable industry agile certifications will be considered.
Financial management experience including budgeting, planning and forecasting
Regulations, procedures, and practices of a specific discipline
Analytical skills
Specialized, technical skills in quality assurance, audit, finance
Works independently with minimal guidance with ability to perform independent research

This role is based in Cleveland, Ohio, and is a hybrid work arrangement - individuals may be required to work some days in the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland while working the other days from home.
Organizational Expectations :
In this role you will be responsible for organizing and leading concurrent technical projects for departmental, bank, system and/or US Treasury from inception to completion, adhering to project management standards and methodologies, while facilitating interaction with vendors and stakeholders. You will manage project resources efficiently and effectively throughout projects and may have oversight responsibilities for staff.

Traditional office environment: Employees typically sit most of the day, work with a computer and may answer/respond to phone calls. Physical movement consists of walking for meetings, breaks, etc. Ability to lift items weighing approximately 20 pounds on a limited basis is required. Employees may be required to travel by car/air. May be required to work non-standard business hours or on-call assistance on an as-needed basis. High risk environment - single mistakes could cost Bank significant dollars and embarrassment. Time critical deadlines which cannot be altered - missing deadlines could cause the Bank significant dollars and embarrassment. Call assistance on an as-needed basis.
