      Pay Range: $89,000 - $126,000

      Job Summary: Tempur Sealy is currently seeking an exceptional candidate to be an integral member of the IT Program Management Office (PMO) at Tempur Sealy. This IT Project Manager (PM) candidate will work closely with the Sr. Manager of the PMO, IT leadership, business leaders, and peer program and project managers to oversee projects supporting key technical and business initiatives and will contribute to overall programs. As a member of the PMO, this individual will help complete projects efficiently and successfully through effective collaboration, coordination, and communication using TSI standard project management processes.

      The PM will work with business and IT leadership to assess priorities, charter new projects, assign resources, and establish appropriate initiation, planning, design, development, testing, training/OCM and implementation tasks, schedules, and budgets. He or she will help coordinate full-time and part-time business and technical resources and industry experts to assure solutions meet business requirements and support overall Tempur Sealy business and IT strategies. This opportunity requires expert knowledge and experience in project management of large-scale and midsized projects and a proven ability to lead diverse implementation teams.

      Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Key Results Area:

      Provide expert project management including:

      • Driving business improvements by identifying opportunities, defining high-level business requirements, assisting in drafting business cases and reviewing process and technology solutions to ensure they achieve business results
      • Defining project objectives and ensuring alignment with enterprise business and IT strategy
      • Initiating, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling, and closing projects while adhering to TSI PMO standard project management methodologies including developing project charters, scope, resource, requirements, risk, issue, schedule, budget, procurement, communication, and quality management plans
      • Keeping management informed of project objectives and progress
      • Ensuring clear processes and procedures are defined and executed during the life of the project
      • Enabling crisp communication using standard tools and reporting rhythms including issues, risks, gaps, decisions, status and critical upcoming events
      • Owning formal stage gate reporting: preparation, attendees, agenda (Kick-off, Set-up, Localization, Go Live and Close)
      • Leading a cross-functional project team including business and IT resources across multiple functional areas in a matrixed organization
      • Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
      • Facilitating and coordinating test plans, training plans and organizational change management initiatives
      • Overseeing external vendor relationships where necessary
      • Facilitating reengineering business processes, modifications to organizational roles and responsibilities, and replacing legacy technologies as appropriate
      • Managing business and technology resources responsible for the implementation including data quality efforts for master data
      • Serving as stakeholder advocate and ensuring balanced decisions are made throughout the project that consider return on investment, risk mitigation, data integrity, employee satisfaction, and sustainability

      Requirements

      Qualifications:

      • Proven and effective project management experience
      • Adept in industry standard project management methodologies; adheres firmly to standard processes.
      • Superb communication and collaboration skills including the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy to understand business terms and the ability to foster collaboration among team members and business stakeholders
      • Strong leadership, presentation skills, and ability to effectively and efficiently lead meetings for all levels of stakeholders.
      • Demonstrated ability to plan ahead and forecast activities days, weeks, and months in advance.
      • Previous successful ERP implementation experience or support of an ERP implementation desired; Microsoft Dynamics AX preferred
      • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to describe the big picture and details alike
      • Experience coordinating or overseeing large to mid-size projects including end-user testing and training
      • Self-starter with the ability to take initiative/pro-actively solve problems
      • Adept at situational leadership
      • Expert in process definition and process improvement initiatives
      • Proven leader and team player
      • Understanding of current industry trends and general business knowledge
      • General proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documentation
      • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university

      Training/Certifications:

      • PMP Certification a plus
      • Proficiency in, but not limited to, Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word), Microsoft Project
      • Experience with Teams, Team Foundation Server (TFS), SharePoint, Visio

      Work Environment/Physical Requirements: Fast-paced corporate office environment. Some stress may occur. Regular travel is not expected in this position; however, travel around scheduled projects such as program rollouts may be necessary.
