  Responsibilities

  Who are you?

  Reporting to the Manager of Project Management, the Project Manager will manage a variety of IT and Security projects to meet the needs of the organization and align with strategic goals. Core responsibilities include applying project management principles, practices, and techniques to lead and control project schedule, scope, quality, cost, and performance risks independently for multiple complex projects. Candidates applying for this position should have experience managing business-driven projects.

  In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following:

  • Oversee all phases of managing projects, including project intake, project kick-off, project plan, scheduling project meetings, keeping leadership informed on project status, and identifying and mitigating risks and blockers to meet due dates
  • Work with stakeholders and business owners to create clarity and alignment around business objectives through the development of project scope and requirements
  • Collaborate with the technical project team to identify key project milestones and create a plan to achieve them by the desired due date
  • Develop project management documents such as project plans, schedules, budgets, RACI charts, and logs (e.g., risks, issues, actions, decisions, communication plans, change requests, and lessons learned)
  • Facilitate project communication between end users, the technical project team, and stakeholders as needed; maintain ongoing knowledge of project status and bring awareness to any potential delays, risks, or concerns that may affect project outcomes
  • Conduct regular status meetings with project stakeholders, keeping stakeholder needs and requirements continuously in view
  • Prepare executive-facing status reports and presentations in collaboration with technical team members
  • Other duties as assigned

  Qualifications

  In order to represent the best of what we have to offer you come to us with a multitude of positive attributes including:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline, or equivalent experience. Years of experience can be substituted for degree field.
  • 3+ years of project management experience, managing diverse teams and complex projects
  • Experience working in project initiation in a large technology/digital environment
  • Strategic thinker that can connect business outcomes to technology solutions; strong collaborator, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
  • Strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Understanding of value-driven outcomes and metrics
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Expert proficiency in office productivity software and tools (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Asana a plus
