Your role
Have you successfully planned, organized and controlled all test activities? Do you have experience in test automation in an agile team? Do you want to be our test expert, making sure our application meet the requirements?
We’re looking for an IT Quality & Test Engineer to:
• design, build and maintain a test automation framework for UI, REST/SOAP API and backend automation
• integrate QA automation into the build and deploy pipelines supporting a drive towards CI/CD using Gradle and GitLab
• write automated test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements
• support release life cycle with focus on quality of specification, creation of test plan, running test cases, defect tracking, provisioning of evidences and reporting in tools like TestNG, Jira Xray
• comply with UBS test strategy, testing standards, templates and test plansYour team
You’ll be working in our delivery team in the crew Credit Processing, Zürich. We provide engineering services for all Credit Processing related topics to all business divisions of the UBS group. Together as team, we provide solutions to unique business/market requirements in line with the established Corporate IT Standards. As an IT Quality & Test Engineer you'll play an important role in providing a robust and reliable generation of Credit Processing applications. Your expertise
• held similar test engineer role, ideally for 3-5 years of experience in test automation
• strong experience writing automated test cases in the following languages: Kotlin, Java, SQL and JavaScript
• experience with source code management, DevOps and build process for building and maintaining automation frameworks
• have experience in test frameworks like Selenium, Selenide, Arquillian Graphene, REST Assured, Hamcrest
• know-How to build an end to end automation framework with dynamic test data, reusable utilities, database test and detailed reporting for web-services
• working experience with API testing using tools like SoapUI, Postman, REST Assured framework
• strong interpersonal communication skills and a successful team player
• worked preferable in an agile environment within the finance sectorAbout us
