  JOB SUMMARY
  
  Calling all IT, computer, and electronics repair experts! We have an immediate need for IT Repair Technicians at our expanding manufacturing site in Florence, KY!

  In this role, you will be working onsite in a manufacturing environment testing, diagnosing, and repairing electronic components using Linux software.

  This is an onsite in-person position in Florence, KY (near Cincinnati)

  • $22/hr + DOE

  JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 1-5 years of relative experience in debugging, testing, and/or repairing computer hardware (motherboards, DIMMs memory, CPUs, etc.)
  • Must have previous experience using Linux software
  • Ability to lift and load up to 25 pounds continuously
  • Understanding of SSH or Telnet and how computer POST work
  • Mid-level knowledge in BMC/IPMI
  • Experience with FW (firmware) updates via ssh and using ethtool, ncat, imitool, and smart preferred
  • Must be able to work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Diagnose and repair basic test failures (power, traffic, network issues) to a component level on electronic circuit board assemblies while maintaining minimal quantities of Engineering and Component hold assemblies.
  • Exhibit proficiency in the use of electronic test and measurement equipment.·
  • Understand and utilize assembly documentation such as but not limited to the following; Schematics, BOM’s, EC documents, Visuals, Debug, Testing tools, and procedures.·
  • Assist the Test Engineering department in an ongoing data evaluation program for improving the efficiency of the diagnosis of assemblies.·
  • Understand, recognize, and execute Jabil production requirements, rules, policies, and procedures.·
  • Work as a team member to achieve the department’s process yield goals.·
  • Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by the supervisor.·
  • Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.·
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.·

  The hourly pay range for this role is $20.47 - $36.85. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, education (if requirement noted above), geographic location, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.

  As part of the total rewards package, this position is eligible for a short-term incentive based on performance.
