What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide Tier I support for end users regarding hardware and software issues within the POS system and other critical systems
- Document, troubleshoot, and resolve or escalate incident tickets from users and retail stores
- Analyze reported problems, identify trends, and recommend measures to minimize future occurrences
- Assist in training and documentation for self-help and team knowledge sharing
- Maintain and update knowledge bases and resources on the IT intranet to aid in problem resolution
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in computer science or information systems
- At least 1 year of related experience or 3 years of equivalent work experience
- Experience in a high call volume, time-sensitive environment, preferably in retail technical support
- Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of IT Service Desk practices
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 2-3 years of experience supporting users in a technical support environment
- Familiarity with retail, POS, enterprise, or desktop applications
- A+, HDI Helpdesk, or other technical certifications
- Proven ability to work in a collaborative team-oriented environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage time effectively
