      The IT Rotational Development Program spans across Digital Technology, Cybersecurity, Enterprise Data & Insights (“ED&I”), and Paint Stores Group (“PSG”) IT. This experience enables participants to gain broad exposure to foundational tools, data sources and structures, business immersion, and solution design throughout two twelve-month rotations.

      Participants are paired with a program mentor to provide support and professional guidance throughout the program. The program participant may pursue either business-focused or technical-focused path. Program participants will meet monthly, with other members of their cohort, and will have the opportunity to experience 20-40 hours of formal technical training, relative to their active rotation. Participants will have the opportunity to gain experience in two focus areas including, but not limited to:

      • Full stack Development & Delivery
      • Cybersecurity
      • DevOps & Cloud
      • Data Delivery & Analysis
      • Data Science & Data Engineering
      • Machine Learning & AI
      • Configuration & Application Delivery
      • User Experience & Design Thinking

      This program will begin June 16, 2025. All rotations will be located at the Sherwin-Williams Corporate Headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio. Upon successful completion of the program, the incumbent will have the opportunity to be placed into a full-time role within Digital Technology, Cybersecurity, ED&I or PSG IT.

      Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company’s staff, employees, and business relationships.

      Qualifications

      Minimum Requirements


      • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
      • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
      • Must have a bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Systems Management, Mathematics, or Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering by the start of this development program.

      Preferred Qualifications


      • Have previous internship and/or co-op experience in the Information Technology (IT) field.
      • Have prior experience in DevOps and Cloud computing principles.
      • Have prior experience in software development, cybersecurity, data science, business analytics or project management.
      • Have prior experience in one or more of the following programming languages: SQL, C#, Java, Python, Visual Basic, HTML.
      • Have previous experience working in a team-oriented setting including work experience, extracurricular activities, military service, etc.
      • Have at least one (1) year of experience using Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, and/or Outlook).

      Responsibilities

      Essential Functions

      • Gain valuable on-the-job training to be successful in a variety of roles at Sherwin-Williams.
      • Investigate, analyze, and recommend improvements to address or prevent business issues and mitigate risk.
      • Utilize data to recommend technical and business decisions.
      • Prepare and lead presentations as requested.
      • Participate in requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and impact analysis for solution delivery.
      • Plan and organize tasks, report progress, and coordinate with other team members.
      • Assist with the identification and implementation of solutions that provide enhanced functionality and increased value.
      • Create and maintain design documentation.
      • Follow organizational change management and communication protocols.
      • Assist with other projects as necessary to contribute to efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
