  We are looking for a skilled IT (Information Technology) Security Analyst to join our team. As an IT Security Analyst, you will handle reviewing spam email submissions, reviewing security alerts, managing managed security service provider relationships, managing endpoint protection (CrowdStrike), and vulnerability management. The Security Analyst will work with a joint team of Information Technology, Security, Identity, and Infrastructure Engineers to implement, monitor, and improve Bob’s Discount Furniture Technology Security Program.

  Responsibilities

  • Reviewing spam email submissions to identify any potential security threats
  • Analyzing security alerts to identify and respond to any incidents or breaches
  • Managing the relationship with our managed security service provider (MSSP) to ensure that all security controls are in place and functioning effectively
  • Implementing and managing our endpoint protection (CrowdStrike) solution to detect and respond to any security threats or attacks
  • Conducting vulnerability assessments on our systems and applications to identify and mitigate any security vulnerabilities
  • Providing recommendations and guidance to management and IT teams to enhance overall security posture
  • Participating in incident response activities as needed
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards regarding IT security
  • Analyze and respond to our ecommerce security alerts, ensuring the security of customer data, and preventing cyber-attacks
  • Prepare risk assessments and security authorization documentation
  • Work with Infrastructure and Networking teams to review processes and implement process improvements and contribute to Risk Based Assessments of Bob’s security program
  • Prepare reports and presentations for IT and Security Management and support security audits
  • Keep up to date with the latest security trends and technologies, and recommend improvements to our security posture

  Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ technical experience in a related technical field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi-task, plan and prioritize in a high-volume environment with competing demands

  Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry related degree is preferred
  • Security related certification a plus
  • Tools may include: Azure security capabilities, Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike, MS Defender, Enterprise firewall, email gateways, Web Application Firewalls (Akamai), etc.
  • Project management experience a big plus

  Salary Range: $76,000 - $110,000

  Expected Base Pay Not Including Potential Commissions, Incentive, Bonus, etc. Opportunities:
