    • Configure computers, laptops, tablets, and other devices according to standardized specifications and requirements.
    • Installs, updates, and customizes software applications, operating systems, and security settings on various computing devices.
    • Creates and manages user profiles, ensuring that individual preferences and access levels are appropriately configured.
    • Integrates and tests hardware components, ensuring proper functionality and compatibility with the district's technology infrastructure.
    • Provides support for troubleshooting device configuration issues to resolve technical issues efficiently.
    • Maintains accurate documentation of device configurations, software installations, and any customization performed for future reference and auditing.
    • Conducts quality assurance checks to ensure that configured devices meet established standards and provide optimal performance.
    • Ensures a seamless end-user experience, communicating and documenting IT orientation and training opportunities, cybersecurity awareness, and IT resources and tools for tech-related questions.
    • Ensures the student and staff on/off boarding process workflow is separate.
    • Performs preventive maintenance on tools and equipment and ensures equipment is in safe operating condition.
    • Follows established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties including lifting and climbing; operates tools and equipment according to established safety procedures.
    • Corrects unsafe conditions in work area and promptly reports any conditions that are not immediately correctable to supervisor.

      Position Purpose

      Ensures the seamless integration and functionality of technology devices. Configures various computing devices and related technology equipment to deploy standardized software, settings, and applications. Customizes devices to meet the specific needs of Fort Worth ISD students and staff, creating a user-friendly computing environment. Streamlines device setup processes, promoting efficiency, and supporting the district's educational goals through the effective utilization of technology resources.


      ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
