Job Description
- Req#: R-0000024826
- Troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex incidents and service requests.
- Escalate complex technical service and hardware/software issues within performance standards.
- Document services provided and share troubleshooting techniques with less experienced technicians.
- Provide advanced technical support and guidance for troubleshooting incidents.
- Coordinate with vendors and National IT Operations to resolve server, workstation and network issues.
- Configure and install IT users` desktop software and hardware.
- Utilize automated and remote distribution and maintenance tools for PC image builds, upgrades, and patch management.
- Maintain and document associated asset information and records.
- Focus on larger scale projects, including departmental relocations and patch management initiatives.
- Participate in technical pilot and production roll-outs, document results and provide input to procedural and support processes being established.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Management Information
Systems; may be substituted with vocational training certification and five or more years of related experience. - At least five year`s previous experience with desktop hardware, software installation, and remote local support, or CompTia A+ and SCCM experience preferred.
- Skilled in verbal and written communication to identify and satisfy customer needs; ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences at various levels within the organization.
- Experience developing and maintaining internal and external customer relationships.
- Proven experience with managing all aspects of desktop and end-user support.
- Experience with use of automated software distribution and remote access tools.
- Proven experience with mobile device software support.
- Experience includes configuring, installing, and troubleshooting.
- Equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for any of the above requirements
