Job Description
- Req#: REF231197F
- Provide IT support for facility computer systems, computers, and peripherals. This includes installing, diagnosing, maintaining, and upgrading/replacing hardware while ensuring optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot moderate to complex IT problems in a timely and accurate fashion and provide customer enabling for a standard suite of IT products.
- Manage and respond to incident/requests utilizing industry standard tools. Receive and respond to incoming calls or other methods of communication (email, collaboration tools) regarding workplace tools and hardware problems.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to team’s goals.
- University degree or college diploma in computer science, Information technology or related field.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
- Possess a strong customer-service awareness/orientation.
- Possess a technical familiarity of PC hardware.
- Ability to analyze complex situations and provide sound solutions in a timely manner.
- Hands-on hardware and operating system troubleshooting experience.
- Time management skills; capable to deliver results on time for all tasks assigned.
- Possess effective interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Able to present ideas in easy to understand and user-friendly language/manner.
- Capable to develop a good understanding of local business requirements and the ability to translate them into IT solutions for the business.

Job Description
This is a one year contract position with possibility for extension. Hybrid work is available, with 3 days on site as an average working out of the office located in Welland, Ontario.
