      The IT Support Specialist I provides support on computer hardware and software on our Las Vegas Region IT Property Operations team. The Support Specialist will support end users in the installation, upgrade and troubleshooting hardware and software systems at our eight Las Vegas casino properties and back-office facilities.

      Responsibilities include:

      • Address user tickets regarding hardware, software, and networking
      • Walk customers through installing applications and computer peripherals
      • Identify issues that require escalation.
      • Customize desktop applications to meet user needs
      • Assist with special event or project related equipment setups
      • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
      • Perform duties as assigned

      Requirements:

      • 1 year computer operations experience in an iSeries and/or Windows server environment. Experience to include knowledge of basic system commands and error message recognition.
      • Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals, such as printers and scanners
      • Excellent problem solving and multitasking skills
      • Customer-oriented attitude
      • College diploma or equivalent experience preferred
      • CompTIA’s A+, Network+, or Security+ (preferred, but not required)
      • Ability to lift to 40 pounds
      • Ability to walk 3+ miles a day through casino properties
      • Work shifts vary
      • NV gaming
      • This position does not have the ability to work remotely.
