      IT Support Specialist

      Program & Location: Brockton, MA & New Bedford, MA

      Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
      Pay Rate: Starting at $23/ hour (education & experience dependent)
      Status: Full Time
      Shift: Monday - Friday, 9AM - 5PM
      This position supports users and technology in multiple locations in Southeastern Massachusetts. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to remote sites are essential. Position includes mileage reimbursement.

      About Us

      High Point & Affiliated Organizations is a health and human services agency whose mission is to treat and prevent substance use disorders and mental health conditions. High Point has programs located throughout Southeastern Massachusetts offering a full continuum of care for substance use and mental health treatment, including inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community-based services.       The IT Support Specialist is the hands-on field technician for employees submitting technical work requests. Help desk technicians will assign support requests to the IT Support Specialist after performing triage on new requests if it is determined that remote support is not sufficient to resolve the issue.

      This position will be based in Brockton, MA for three days per week, and in New Bedford, MA two days per week.

      Responsibilities

      • Imaging/configuring Windows-based devices.
      • Configuration of Apple iPhone and iPad devices.
      • Setup and support of typical office environment peripherals
      • Triaging work requests submitted to the Help Desk via phone and Zoho ticketing system.
      • Working with employees to gather a technical description of their concerns.
      • Troubleshooting technical issues.
      • Creating, deactivating and maintaining employee user accounts.
      • Assisting with employee password resets.
      • Maintaining Department stock and inventory.
      • Other responsibilities or assignments as needed.

      Skills and Experience

      • High School Diploma or equivalent.
      • Experience in a technical field or call center is a plus.
      • Proficient with Windows (10/11) and Apple IOS Operating Systems
      • Working knowledge of basic network connectivity; AD, DHCP, IP, Subnets
      • Some familiarity with video surveillance systems is a plus
      • Must be able to prioritize and schedule work based on urgency/impact.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication.
      • Excellent time management.
      • Detail oriented.
