      Location: Westoport, CT
      Full-Time | Reports To: Director of Information Technology

      About the Role:
      As our IT Support Specialist, you’ll be the frontline of technology support across the organization—ensuring devices run smoothly, users are empowered, and IT operations stay secure and efficient. You’ll work closely with internal staff and external vendors to keep everything connected and running seamlessly.

      What You’ll Do:

      • Tech Support & Troubleshooting
      • Deliver top-notch customer support—in person, over the phone, or remotely.
      • Resolve a wide range of hardware/software issues quickly and professionally.
      • Device Setup & Maintenance
      • Configure and deploy laptops, smartphones, desktops, printers, routers, switches, wireless access points, and IoT devices.
      • Handle installations, updates, password resets, backups, and configurations.
      • User Support & Administration
      • Manage inventory and asset tracking for hardware/software.
      • Maintain ticketing system and uphold IT policies and best practices.
      • Onboarding & Offboarding
      • Lead IT onboarding sessions for new employees.
      • Set up and reclaim equipment during role transitions.
      • Technology Improvement & Vendor Relations
      • Test and evaluate new hardware/software tools.
      • Work with vendors for installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting (MFP, ISP, VoIP, etc.).

      What You Bring:

      • 2+ years of hands-on IT support experience.
      • Strong knowledge of Windows 10, Mac OS, Microsoft 365, and remote desktop tools.
      • Familiarity with Active Directory, Exchange, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and patch management.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—with a genuine passion for helping others.
      • Certifications like CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate are a big plus!
      • Physical & Other Requirements:
        Able to lift up to 35 lbs and perform basic physical IT installations (including climbing ladders).
      • Comfortable working in environments with possible exposure to infectious materials or emotionally distressed individuals.
      • Must pass background, drug, and criminal screenings (random testing may occur).
