The IT Systems Engineer - NSO is responsible for configuring, installing, and validating all
technology for new store openings. This includes configuration and troubleshooting of
store software, hardware, remote and in-person support at store go-lives. This will also
include configuration of new stores within the Aloha POS suite of products and thirdparty
applications, and application testing. Configuration and oversight of network
stack install will also be a responsibility of this position. This person must possess excellent
technical and communication skills, must have a deep knowledge of restaurant
technology and payment platforms. Analytical thinking is a critical requirement as this
position will involve problem resolution and process management for technology
related to new store openings at Bagel Brands.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBLITIES
Lead testing/validation and go-live calls for new store openings for IT.
Perform remote support activity to solve technology functionality issues and
ensure proper operation.
Receive escalations from tier 1 & 2 support groups, as well as direct escalations
from operations contacts for new store issues after turnover and store opening.
Manage the installation and maintenance of POS servers, terminals, printers, and
network gear for both remote and in person installations at corporate and
franchise stores.
Program new stores in NCR products such as Configuration Center, Back Office,
Business Service Layer, Connected Payments, as well as related applications
such as Paytronix, Monkey Media, or Yext.
Fulfill third party delivery onboarding processes and communicate with
franchises regarding onboarding.
Communicate with other departments and vendors to track installations, site
details, testing, opening dates, and checklist tasks.
Communicate with corporate and franchise teams to provide updates and
keep up to date with task deadlines throughout the NSO opening process.Provide early morning/evening/weekend after-hours technical support to
restaurant locations for the weeks following opening.
Follow documentation and procedures based on the needs of new stores and
technology staff or create new documentation and procedures if conditions or
processes require improvement.
Conduct quality assurance (QA) and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure
that new store configurations meet specified requirements and are free of defects
or issues.
Previous experience within the hospitality industry strongly desired.

present and maintain the ability to lead cross functional meetings with internal
and external partners. Clear and consistent communication with other teams
and stakeholders involved in new store openings is critical.
Ability to self-manage, multi-task, and shift between several NSO projects at
once.
Able to maintain working project plan and task lists related to NSO technology
needs.
Able to recognize tasks and issues and notify affected parties across the new
store opening staff.
Can appropriately communicate, explain, and set expectations with both
technical staff and operations field teams.EDUCATION – TRAINING – EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, or
related field experience.
Minimum of 4 years related IT support and/or IT project management
roles.
Minimum of 2 years working with POS configurations or NCR’s
configuration center and related technologies.
Experience with POS systems, installing or troubleshooting on site
hardware.Compensation Range:
$58,406.40 - $102,211.20 per year*Starting pay is subject to Local and State Minimum Wage regulations.
**Ranges reflect what employer reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for such position.
