Job Description

- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
- Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software faults, and replace parts as needed.
- Test and evaluate new technology and support the roll-out of new applications.
- Set up and manage system accesses for new and existing users.
- Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair faults and set up systems.
- Communicate professionally and courteously with internal and external clients and adhere to phone etiquette policies.
- Respond to tickets and requests within service agreement timeframes.
- Resolve issues and set up systems by clearly communicating a series of actions in person or over the phone.
- Establish and maintain rapport and trust with customers, vendors, and third-party affiliates and professionals.
- Assist internal customers with password help, administration, and resets.
- Compile and maintain administrative and procedural documentation, records, and reports.

Summary: The IT Technician supports and maintains the Bank’s technology and associated peripherals. They install, monitor, maintain, and configure computer systems and networks. They help diagnose and resolve technical and application problems.

The ideal candidate for IT Technician possesses a combination of education and experience to be able to perform the primary duties of this position with little supervision, managing and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously. They adapt easily to system, process, product, and service changes, and are able to reason, problem solve and think critically. They must demonstrate a high level of integrity, personal diplomacy, and respect. They are knowledgeable in the following systems: Microsoft Windows, Office365, Active Directory, IOS, Android, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VPN, Ethernet.
