Job Type: Seasonal - Full Time Temporary (4 Months)
Duration: May 8, 2024 – August 28, 2024
Hourly Rate: $22.45 - $24.61 (2024 rate) - Shift Information: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week

- Assists with various divisional programs and office functions.
- Assists with collecting data and assembling information packages for various projects/assignments/operations.
- Assists with identifying gaps and improving back-office as well as operational processes.
- Provides information, documents requests/findings for information and directs inquiries to appropriate staff to answer questions/handle requests.
- Assists with installing, maintaining, and updating various hardware/software/systems.
- Collects & analyze data for the program team.
- Assists with organizing and presenting data collected.
- Assists with maintaining Program artifact repository (SharePoint).
- Research faults/problems for others to analyze/process.
- Research software, hardware and peripheral devices.
- Assists in maintaining inventory.
- Assists with simple programming.
- Assists in performing technical tests.
- Travels to various locations and participates in special events, shows or meetings.
- Post-secondary education or current enrollment in an IT, Computer Science or related program, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience engaging with the public and providing front-line customer service, responding to inquiries in person, on the telephone and through email.
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Office (i.e. MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Experience with computer applications including MS 365 Office Suite
- Experience with Project life cycle and SDLC
- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service orientation with ability to communicate effectively orally and writing.
- Strong interpersonal skills enabling working effectively as a member of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, including attention to detail, ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and work effectively with minimal supervision, deal with conflicting priorities and work demands.
- Knowledge of web application technology concepts
- Ability to prepare, interpret and process technical documentation.
- Ability to travel to various sites within the City of Toronto as required.
- It is an asset of knowledge in Lean Six Sigma.
