During the training, you will take part in and successfully complete individual and group assignments and projects, including quizzes, tests, homework, and presentations, while gaining industry and company-specific knowledge.
You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment which may require action and response 24x7 to support the technical business needs of the customer.
On-call will be required for some positions.
A bachelor’s degree in computer science or other IT job-related field obtained prior to May 26, 2024 OR
an associate degree in computer science or other IT-job related field obtained prior to May 26, 2024 plus two years of job-related IT experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well under close supervision and as part of a team.
Attention to detail.
Ability to complete assigned work in a timely manner.
Microsoft Office skills.
Demonstrated initiative in recent extracurricular activities/studies related to technology.
IT internship experience.

ELTP is a technical training program in Columbia, SC where you’re able to participate in an initial 3–5-month paid classroom training. After successful completion of the program, you will join one of our technology areas related to your field of study where you’ll continue to grow your career through mentoring, professional development and career advancement opportunities.
Summary
These positions require a security clearance, which requires US citizenship to obtain.
Our non-host systems training is designed to prepare entry-level computer programmers for a career in our application development areas that are not mainframe-based. This includes the areas responsible for the development and maintenance of corporate and subsidiaries’ websites, voice response units, desktop applications, and infrastructure applications. The curriculum focuses primarily on JavaScript application development, as well as several other languages and technologies.
