      This is an expatriate position in Cameri, Italy to support the Italy FACO F-35 Production. This role duration is minimum of 2 years with possibility of extensions to 5 year maximum.
      This position is on the Fort Worth based Signature Integration Team and will be the in-country Signature Technical Expert and will provide engineering and technical guidance to the F-35 FACO team. This candidate is responsible for executing ATF (Acceptance Test Facility) Signature Acceptance Testing, performing RCS (RADAR Cross Section) diagnostics during testing, generating aircraft acceptance/failure reports, and coordinating with MRB (Material Review Board) to disposition Flight Science QARs (Quality Assurance Records) and drive to closure supporting aircraft DD250. As part of the aircraft RCS testing, the candidate will also be responsible for coordinating with the Fort Worth Signature team to additional create presentations giving specific technical details and analysis of each aircraft tested. This individual will also be responsible for providing on-call production support to conduct RVR (Repair Verification RADAR) acceptance testing, pre and post ATF as required. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for conducting periodic checks of range support and measurement equipment and scheduling maintenance and repair as required.
      The candidate must be knowledgeable in all aspects of F-35 Security and ITAR restrictions and regulations. It is the objective of this role to aid the co-producer through the communication of their knowledge and experience with the F-35 product. In order to accomplish this they will be called upon to participate in operational communications on production status and performance, technical reviews, and implementation of changes relating to design, manufacturing, material & processes, as permitted within ITAR and security restrictions. This includes communicating Operational Status, Engineering Drawings, Specifications, Production Planning, VAS models, CATIA models, Authorized Engineering Instructions (AEI), System Check Out Procedures (SCOPs), Advance Engineering Authorizations (AEA), Special Tooling and equipment specifications. Successful candidate will be able to effectively communicate and engage implementation of best practices and lessons learned to enable the Co-Production team to create a quality product on schedule.

      -Bachelor’s degree or above in one of the following fields: -Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or technically related degree

      -Experience with Microsoft Excel, Access, Project, PowerPoint Senior Bolt Program Clearance
      Radar Cross Section Test Experience
      Full experience with F-35 Signature team's software suite: ARCM and Joker
      Experience in radar cross section (RCS) design, Low Observable (LO) materials and processes
      Knowledge of VAS, PDM, Computer Aided Design (CAD), CATIA V5, Matlab, Compuquest, relational data bases, QADS, CRM, and RAVE Acceptance Test Software
      Experience in Production Support and MRB activities
      Knowledge of the F-35 airframe design and coating materials and methods.
      Previous experience in low observables (LO), survivability, or susceptibility
