  Bolton & Menk has an opportunity for a ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems) Transportation Engineer to join our expanding team. Bolton & Menk is excited to be part of the Denver area and will be expanding our team and services in the Rocky Mountain region.   What you will be doing:

  In this role you will assist with the planning, design, implementation, and evaluation of intelligent transportation systems such as traveler information systems, advanced traffic management systems, transit technologies, wireless and fiber optic networks, and connected and automated vehicles. Typical responsibilities include: preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates; data analysis; technical writing; field inspections; integration and troubleshooting; and collaboration with internal staff.

  Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college
  • Licenesed Professional Engineer (P.E.) or ability to obtain licensure within 12 months
  • 5 years of progressive ITS experience preferred

  Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and CADD applications (Open Roads Designer / MicroStation, AutoCAD Civil 3D, etc.)
  • Interest in intelligent transportation systems, connected and automated vehicles, and other technology applications
  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Willingness to learn new concepts and emerging technologies

  Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 depending on years of experience and credentials.

  Bolton & Menk is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
